GLOBALIZATION
1. Having read the previous texts. What do you think can be the effects of globalization in Chile? Mention 2.
a) One of the effects of globalization is that you have the opportunity to import products, and have some
treaties to avoid paying tariff barriers.
b)Another of them would be the loss of traditions since we are exposed to being closer and knowing more
cultures and taking part of them, for example with the US culture that also supplies us with many products
manufactured by them and we stop consuming local brands.
2. Do you think globalization is a reversible process? Yes, No? Justify your answer.
I believe that this cannot be reversible since many barriers have already been opened for the entry of technologies and products around the world, people increasingly want to consume more and be more connected with the world in a matter of minutes without having to move from where do we meet.
The economy is increasingly developed and there is the opportunity to trade with more countries through
international trade.
international trade.
I agree with you I don't think we could ever go back to world where globalization doesn't exist. There's been too many changes (both good and bad) in the economy, technology and culture, etc and that cannot be reversed.
ResponderEliminarI think that international trade is the main factor so that globalization is not reversible, many countries depend on it.
ResponderEliminarI agree with you, globalization has reached a point of influence in our lives to the extent that human beings adapt our entire lives by being updated and interconnected with the rest of the world
ResponderEliminarI agree, importing products is definitely one of the biggest advantages of globalization, it helps countries to grow their economy and have a presence in the world market.
ResponderEliminarI agree with you, I believe that globalization is not reversible, because not only the economies of the developed countries favor it, we live in the total comfort that this phenomenon has not provided, far from seeing if there are side effects that affect us globally and personally.
ResponderEliminarI agree with you. And regarding question 1, I believe that society will be more exposed to mass media, there will be variety of products but national producers could be affected in this process.
